This is definitely one of my favorite things about Utah. I love love love seeing the lights down at temple square. It was even more special to be able to take Jaden and Kennedy!
Watching the Nativity with Grandpa. She was TOTALLY into it. They stood there and watched almost the whole thing together.

Meanwhile... we were hanging out in behind them

Kenz and Jade

Jaden and Daddy

Jade and Tanner catching snow on their tongues

Sissy and Grandpa STILL watching the Nativity

When they were finished my Dad said her favorite parts were the "puppy" aka the lamb

and the "cow" aka the camel

Heather, Me, Ren, Tanner (Cam in the background) and Brett

Ren and Sis

Went inside to see the Christus. It was a really neat moment for Jaden. He sat there and stared with Grandma for the longest time.

He kept telling her, "Jesus has an owie on his hand" and that "he needs a bandaid"
Even though it sounds kinda silly, it was really, really sweet. He is such a sweet, tender hearted boy!

the whole fam -minus Taylor :(

we rode up and down and up and down the escalator.. it was truly amazing. :)

obsessed with the snow!! This was our first time really being outside there!

me and my love.

never too busy for kisses for Daddy

checking out the trees/snow/lights with Grandma

me and Renny

Tanner being *hilarious* pretending to throw Jade in the reflection pool

Our cute little fam.

me and Sis

Back inside to warm up again and get some dinner inside the Joseph Smith Memorial building.

Kenz hanging out with the kids while we were waiting to get in for Dinner
(not sure why Kenz looks like a total creeper ;) love ya kenz)
SO, obviously we went to Utah for Christmas... this is just the first of our Christmas break posts... I decided it would be a little easier to handle if I broke it down, instead of trying to do it all at once. :)More coming soon...

Beautiful! That was such a special night to have everyone (but Tay) together, in such a special place. I will treasure the memory of Jaden mesmorized with Jesus, and concerned about his hands. Shame. Love you guys, and thanks for making the effort to come!
What a fun time! I love that picture of the Temple with all the trees lit up...gorgeous!! And it looks like you had an amazing time with your family. I love Utah...especially this time of year!
