We LOVE summer!

We are loving this warm weather! We have been out in the pool every day. Grandma Heyland bought Kennedy a cute little swimsuit it is size 6-12 months and it fits perfectly! she is our big girl! So she got in for the first time today! (Just her feet!) She loved it! I think she's been needing to cool down too! She is a pretty cute little swimmer!

making it all worth it!

Jaden is talking SO much! It is so fun. He tells you everything he is doing, points out everything he sees, and he sings along to all the little einsteins songs. For the last little while he will say love you, but only if you tell him to or if you say it first... this last week he started saying it on his own. He keeps coming up to us and saying love you. It just melts my heart. It makes all this craziness of being parents worth it.

lovin life

It was a busy and stressful weekend trying to move. But, we are, for the most part, settled into our new home!! It is an older duplex... with some LOVELY wallpaper! But it has 3 bedrooms, a garage, and what feels to us like a HUGE backyard!

Jaden loves his freedom, he can open doors now, so he wanders in and out of the backyard as he pleases, we have the gate locked so he can't get out, and I don't have to stress about him. He thinks it is pretty cool to be a big boy with indepence.

It has been so hot here, so we got a little pool for Jaden and I to cool down and have some one on one time together while Kennedy naps.

Kennedy is such a little sweetie. She LOVES her toys. She bats at them until she catches one, and you can just tell how excited she is to have it, and they go straight into her mouth. She is always smiling, she is so much fun!

We are back!!!

This last week and a half we went to Utah to bless Kennedy in my parents home. It was a great day for our family. Here are some pictures of the special day!

Cameron had to come back home early to start his externship, but me and the kids stayed another week. We had a ton of fun playing, shopping, going to Hogle Zoo, and much more! It was so good to see our families, we miss everyone already!

Somehow, I didn't end up getting ANY pictures of my mom!! She was the biggest help to me, especially after Cam went home. So just so she is not left out of this post, here is a picture of her last time she came to Texas!

Even though we had so much fun, we missed daddy so much!! It's good to be back!

I stand corrected!!

We were obviously way off on our predictions with Jason Castro on American Idol. However, in our defense I think he got bored of American Idol, and stopped caring and trying.

Me and the kids have been in Utah all week, and are loving David Archeleta more and more! How can you not though, he is adorable. He was here in Utah today and it is all anyone can talk about! Here is his cute song this week, of him singing stand by me!!
