Jadey-bug

now, what kind of mother would I be if I did a post about Kennedy and not about Jadey-bug! Here are a few pics of my crazy boy... he is actually 2yrs and 8months today! WOW! weird, he is almost 3 and that freaks me out! He is enjoying making our life crazy, while at the same time constantly melting our hearts! 

My favorite thing he does right now? Every time we go to get mad at him, when he is getting into trouble, he gets close to you, and puts this big smile on and says "Hi! How are you?!" Somehow, he knows this breaks me and Cam down every time! And it is impossible not to grab him and give him a big hug and kiss! He kills me! 

Our life is basically a giant Go Diego Go episode, Jaden is obsessed with it, and walks around quoting it all day! In the picture above he is saying "Clap your hands with me! Clap, clap, clap! Clap, clap, clap!" (if you have seen the show, I am sure you can hear it in your head!.... I know I can!) He is always trying to get us to let him watch it!

Jaden's newest thing is slides, he thinks it is so funny to go down on his tummy! i swear this boy never stops going!

9 months old!!

Kennedy turned 9 months old last week! She is getting to be such a big girl! She is laughing and smiling ALL the time! She is such a happy baby... most of the time!! 

Her favorite things right now are:

jaden

puffs & crunchies

walks

animals at the zoo

peek-a-boo

clapping

standing (she is starting to stand on her own, for a couple seconds! yikes!)

waving

Kennedy FINALLY got her first tooth this week!! Wahoo! It is just starting to come in, she is becoming a big girl!

I took her to the doctor this week and she did so good! No vaccinations this time, just the flu shot! She did so good! Here are her stats:

Height: 28 inches (between 50-75 percentile)

Weight: 22 lbs 14 oz (95 percentile)

Head: 47 (above 95 percentile!)

So what does that mean? She happy and healthy, and just like her brother, dad, and mom, she has a big head!! Haha! We are going to have smart children!

We decorated our gingerbread house this week! I am just loving this holiday season! We have the best family in the world, and have so much fun together!

Sea World!

As the year comes to an end, so do our season passes to Sea World =( so we had to head out there one last time. It gets more fun every time, as Jaden becomes more and more aware of what he is seeing! We had a blast!

Oh Christmas Tree! Oh Christmas Tree!

It is our family tradition to decorate the Christmas tree, and put all the Christmas decorations up the day after Thanksgiving! So far we have only had the tree fall over once, but KK has been working hard making it happen again!

Jaden keeps looking at the tree saying "oooo!! it's BEAUTIFUL!!"

more zoo!?!

Six years ago, when I was starting my Freshman year of college, you could have NEVER convinced me to go to the zoo 2 or 3 times a week... well now its like the highlights of our week! Jaden and Kennedy just love it, and it is such a great zoo, so its super fun for us! Today we had a close encounter with the lions. You would think my children should be terriffied of these gigantic lions scratching at their faces, but they were dying laughing!!

Jade was such a big helper to us this year making our Thanksgiving dinner! He was super excited about making the turkey!

We can't keep Kennedy off her feet, she is always standing on something, trying to keep up with Jaden I am sure!

Grandparents and a COLD weekend!!

So, I have been so obsessed with making sure I am blogging on my Photography Blog, that I have neglected this blog.... oops! We were so lucky to have Cameron's parents come visit last week! It was so fun to see them, and Jade just LOVES visitors! We are pretty sure they brought the cold weather with them, because while they were here it was the coldest couple days of the year so far! Now it is back up to our delightful 75 degrees!! Ahh! Love it! Anyway, we had so much fun with them, here are a few pictures from the park!
