he's one cool cat.

Me and Janette took the kids to see Toy Story in 3D last week. Jade sat super still, watching, with his awesome 3D glasses on... and didn't make a move the whole movie. Then when it was done, he looked at me and said, "Watch another one?!" Lol. even though they were playing Toy Story 2 right after, Sis had pretty much had it, so we had to go.

Now EVERY time we get in the car, as usual I put my sun glasses on, and now Jade puts his 3D glasses on, and wears them the entire time we drive. He is one cool cat.

2009 HOT Fair!!

Yesterday we went to the fair with our bestest Waco friends, Mich and Missy & Janette! It has been raining the past 2or 3 weeks pretty much here in Waco, so we were more than happy to get outside, and enjoy the fresh air!!

we got FREE ice cream for being one of the first 100 people in the gates. blue bell = delish!

Sis was loving life.

one of the cooler petting zoo's we've ever been in... they had all the usual goats and sheep and stuff... but then more importantly they had a deer, pig, and a LAMA! and three kids were laughing their heads off... they thought it was SO funny!

This was the first ride he got to go on, he thought it was so awesome that he was driving the car. so cute.... and he became SO obsessed with rides after this. He wouldn't have kept going all night if we let him!

my children have the most intense/painful looking "cheeeeeese" smile... so i did it with jade... in front of his favorite ride!

and of course we just HAD to get some fair food... delish while we were eating it... made me sick all night!

my little snuggle budy.

i love my little boy so much. he loves to cuddle, and has since he was just a baby. I hope he will always be a momma's boy, and always be my little snuggle budy.

she's a big girl

first full day of nursery!!!! She did SO awesome! and so did Jaden, I think preschool is helping with nursery. Thank heavens!! :)

once again, just being pretty during the cowboys game! That's what she does best!

Thanks to my incredible hubby, I got to take a 4 day vacation from being a mom, working, cleaning, every one of my usual responsibilities... and as enough that was enough, I got to be with all my best girl friends... at the BEACH!!!!!!!!!!

After traveling for 12 hours... we finally made it to the beach house! YAY! Mich and Em were delayed so it was just the 4 of us at first... we took a stroll out on the beach, under the moonlight. it was wonderful.

Stayed up till 6:30am with Mich, talking and laughing (who by the way still lives in Waco, LOL apparently we still had a lot to talk about!). Woke up 2 hours later at 8:30am to see this out my window:

It's Mel's parents vacation home and WOWZA!! This was seriously the nicest beach house I have ever stayed in! It was so much fun! Mel and Dean are living there right now until Dean starts working. So jealous.

So first thing, we headed out to the beach, to enjoy the sun, water and sand... and each other of course!

yep, we are seriously this cheesy... just HAD to do a jumping picture!

went boogey boarding with Mel, it was SO much fun, I could've stayed out there with her all day...

Then we went down the road to a cute little Bakery Cafe, that was super delish.

and walked across the street to the Pier.

It was really a neat experience. There were tons of crazy people fishing...

We walked under the pier and did a little mini photo shoot, got some AWESOME shots of all the girls and mel took a quick pic of me too...

then we had an awesome night, hit up Olive Garden: YUM, froze ourselves out in the car ;) I accidently "bumped my head" in the middle of the night which woke up Steph... got a little more sleep than the night before, woke up and went straight back out here:

went surfing with Mel... This was AMAZING!!!! Mel was such an awesome teacher, and I got up like 5 or 6 times!! Total rush, such a blast!!!

It got a little chilly though, and me and Mel were in need of some warming up, so we headed inside to warm up with the most incredible Tomato Soup by Mich, and grilled cheese sandwiches.

Had to hit the local souvenir shop to bring back some memories, and of course took a pic in front of it, see the giant alligator behind us?!

and yes, we got matching shirts...

it was inevitable... it had to come to an end. :( It was once again sad to say goodbye to everyone, especially Em and Mel who aren't in Texas anymore... so many fun memories, inside jokes, laughing, crying, just being there for each other.... we'll see each other again soon I'm sure... and one last pic, we had a full moon while we were there, it was so beautiful the way it lit up the beach...

a perfect trip.

and I came home to a PERFECTLY clean house, flowers (chose by Jaden) and a cute Kitty card (chose by Sissy). i love my family.

spiders!!

Thanks to Mel- We decided to go out and buy some play spiders (perfect time of year for it!). They were a little bit creeped out at first, but now they love them. Jade has even slept with them a couple times. So far, so good, no waking up screaming about big scary spiders since we bought them!

i'm just hoping a REAL giant spider doesn't come into his room, and have him think its awesome and try to pick it up! YIKES! :)

oh, and to make them even more awesome... they stick to the walls!

every time we pass this picture of the adorable little girl at Target, Kennedy points and says "SISSY!!!" Apparently she thinks its a picture of her...
