kk started crawling last week, she is seriously ALL over the place! It is so fun! 

How Convenient... ;)

We got a BEAUTIFUL 42" Plasma TV for my Houston Bridal Show this weekend at the Reliant Center... well Hurricane Ike put a huge stop to the show, because the reliant center was too damaged, and housing evacuees, the show was cancelled. Big Bummer. BUT it meant we could go ahead and get our brand new TV out, since the next show isn't until January!

Let me just tell you, Cowboys game + High Definition + 42" plasma TV = a pretty good time for everyone!!

...but not quite a crawler!

She is trying SO hard to crawl! She gets on her hands and knees and just rocks back and forth, sometimes she will lunge herself forward a little. You should see this girl get around though! She is rolling, and pushing herself all over the place! It is so weird, she is becoming a big girl. I tried to take a video today of her, but the battery was dead, pictures will have to do for now! I will do a video later!!

THREE times in ONE WEEK!!?!?

Well, its official. Jaden is obssesed with the zoo! He gets really really excited about it! We just got back from going our third time in six days! Check out this picture (taken with my iPhone) of Jade staring down the lion... if you have ever been to the zoo with us... specifically with Cameron, we like to give the animals a little startle!



We are LOVING this cool weather! It's about time, I think summer went about one week too long for us this year!

This is when living in Texas really starts to pay off! The weather, and COWBOYS SEASON!!!! Wahoo! Go cowboys! Big game this week! (By the way... you won't ever be able to get a hold of us on game night... since we record it and watch it an hour late to avoid commercials, we turn off phones, computers and all communication with the outside world!!)

Zoo season is coming back!

We went to the Zoo yesterday, it's starting to cool down a little bit, but it was still a little hot for the zoo! It was really neat, it was the first time Jaden really got excited about going to the Zoo! All the way there he kept saying over and over "OKAY! We are going to the Zoo!!" He was more excited about all the animals too! Usually we just run through the part where all the snakes are, but this time he was very interested in them! (he has been watching a little einsteins that has a snake on it) As always he loved all the big animals, and of course the fish... Kennedy liked the fish too, her eyes got so big when we were standing in front of the big fish tank!
Later that day, we had to go to Walmart (because the news and the weather channel got us all freaked out about the hurricane, so we went and bought water and flash lights.... who are we kidding we got stocked up on Diet Mt Dew too!) Anyway, when we were getting ready to go, Jade kept saying "let's go to the zoo" I told him we weren't going to the zoo right now, and he just responded by saying, "OKAY! We are going to the Zoo!" I think he thought somehow he could convince me to go to the Zoo twice in the same day! Such a funny boy! Then when I put him to bed last night he was saying over and over, "we are going to go see the Lions, and the Giraffes and the Snakes" The kid makes me laugh so much! Obviously it was a very good day for him!

Shout out to The Baby Einsteins Company!!!

They've done it again! I think I would seriously be an insane mother if it wasn't for Baby Einsteins and Little Einsteins. We got KK a Baby Einsteins jumper this week for her 6month bday, and shes LOVES it! It is so sweet! Jade likes to let his Tickle me Elmo take turns in it when Kennedy is napping!

SIX MONTHS OLD!!

kk turned six months old last week!

WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE? I can't believe my not so tiny baby is getting so big! I took her to her six month check up, and here are her stats: 20 lbs 10 oz, 26 1/2 inches long! I don't know what the percentiles are, because our pediatrician doesn't do that. But she seems like a pretty big girl to us! We love our little princess so much!

rolling around EVERYWHERE, i think crawling is going to come way too soon!

Her love and adoration for Jade! I love this picture because you can just see it in her eyes, the way she loves, and looks up to her big brother! I hope they will always be best friends!

She is a BEAUTIFUL little girl and we sure love her!

Happy Six Month Birthday Kennedy!

color obsession!

Jaden has his colors down now, and it is VERY exciting for us! YAY Jade!

I know, you have already seen pictures from this session, but we got SO many good ones!

Anyway, back to colors. He is so excited about knowing his colors, that it has distracted him from EVERYTHING! The biggest thing is eating, especially breakfast! Breakfast has always been his fav meal, but now he won't eat a bite! We sit through the entire meal with him telling me what color each piece is! (it is actually really quite sweet!)

Wow, we had such a great labor day weekend! For the most part we just played around the house and relaxed! It was nice to have a long weekend right after school started! We did a little mini session with the kids... check it out!
