officially a lawyer.

On May 4th we found out Cameron passed the bar. It was possibly the biggest sigh of relief of our entire marriage. A couple weeks later we went down to Austin, and he was sworn in as an Attorney!

Jaden thought it would be a great idea to bring in his entire box of gummies. As it turned out it was a great idea, because it helped keep them quiet for the whole ceremony! :)

Somehow I didn't end up with any pictures of Cam that day, but it was a really neat experience, and I am so proud of my lawyer hubby!

Jaden's Preschool Graduation!!

We had a little Preschool Graduation for our little preschoolers at Chuck E Cheese! It was the first time we have ever taken the kids there, and you should have seen the look on Jaden and Cameron's face when we walked in!! They were so excited!! We got pizza, played games, talked, and had a little mini award and graduation ceremony for kids! It was a great night!

We each gave the kids awards, and Lindsey gave Jade this little Yoda man, which he loves and plays with all the time!
Hugs with cute Sydnee!
And hugs for his sweet teachers!!
I am so proud of my little man. He has come so far since we started this program in September! For the first couple months I went to every single class with him. Eventually, he became brave, and started going all by himself. It was such a big deal to him, and to me. He has become an independent boy, and I hate/love it. Next year we will hopefully be able to get him into a Pre K program, where he goes to a school at least a couple days a week! I'm excited for our next step, but I will enjoy having him home with me all summer for sure!!

the job interview.

We went down to South Texas for 2 interviews... the first in Corpus Christi, and the second in Harlingen. These pictures were right before Cam's interview... he was ready to go, and we just stopped by the coast for a minute before he left us!
The kids were thrilled with seeing the ocean, it was so fun to watch their amazement!

Cam went to the Corpus interview, found out 2 hours later that he got the job. Then we had to immediately leave for the Harlingen interview, and he was offered the job in the interview. It was a HUGE decision to make, both jobs had their own separate pros, but in the end we picked the Corpus Christi job! It was so cool that we had these pictures of our family in the city we were about to move to!! How perfect!!

Learning Days: G, goat/guitar/grapes/gumballs/etc , 7, triangle

I'm not sure why, but G was a hard week for me to come up with a single theme, and have enough activities on the single theme, so we went with many things that start with G!

We started our week with a Gumball worksheet cutting practice. Jade was thrilled, I'm terrified of letting him have scissors, because he has cut his shirts, and more importantly my finger.. YEouch!! So, when he gets a chance to get his hands on scissors, he is so happy! :)
We did lots of letter practicing!

For our triangle activity we matched the right color triangles to the right color column.

More letter G practice, and coloring gumballs!
We also got a gumball out of a gumball machine, and more things, that I can't remember anymore!! This is the last time we did learning days... once things get settled down here, we will get going again, but for now I haven't even tried!

Lauren + six flags = a good time for all :)

My little sister Lauren came for a visit (ahem... about a month and a half ago...) We headed down to San Antonio to hit up Six Flags with her!! On the way we stopped for lunch at the most delish sandwich place!!
Lauren was so good to keep the kids entertained on the car ride!!
Then we finally made it to Six Flags! This was the ride Jade was most excited about, so we went there first!

oops, I meant to circle Cam and Jade, but that is them right in the middle (Cam with the black shirt) Jade LOVED the rollercoasters!!
Sissy was too little, so we went to the next ride over, and she got to drive her own car again!!
It was so fun because we went back and forth between kids rides and our rides... we took turns keeping the kids, and the other 2 went on rides! Ahh, it was such a blast, it has been so long since Cam or I have been on amazing rides!!
driving the cars again!
pure awesomeness :)
Jade and Cam
They had the Wiggles show going on in the kids area, Sissy was obsessed with the puppy, and wanted Cam to stand there forever watching and dancing!
my cutie pies while Cam and Lauren were off on a ride

We rode the train around the park, and went past these amazing waterfalls!
Jade's dream come true!
i love these boys!
me and my hottie little Sis
Sissy just being cute on the train
When we got off the train driver guy called us over, and asked the kids if they wanted to pull the train horn!! Even though they both look terrified, they actually thought it was SO cool, but it was the train driver taking the picture, and apparently that weirded them out??

terrifying... the rides that shoot you up, and then drop you down. it was so fun... Cam got a video of Lauren and I screaming, but I will spare you of that!
i love us.
we stopped for a little ice cream to cool us down while Lauren and Cam went on one last ride... mmmm....
it was SUCH a fun day, and such a fun weekend to have Lauren there with us!!
