Our New Home Tour!

We are officially homeowners!! Today has been a very exciting day for us, as we have closed on our very first home!! I wanted to take pictures before all of our things are in there, just kinda as before pictures, so while I decorate I can see where we started! And because I know my Mom is dying to see more pictures :)

here the other view from the middle of the living room. one of our favorite things about this house is how open it is, the kids rooms are the doors upstairs on the left, and the gameroom is the openings on the right upstairs

another thing i love about this house, is it has window light EVERYWHERE! even the laundry room. window light makes me smile.

we are so happy, and feel so incredibly blessed to be in this beautiful home!!

see what i mean? no this was not all for christmas. he has been building this collection since he got his very first angry birds on his birthday here.

he was so excited to take this picture of him with all of his angry bird stuff! he has actually made me take like 10 pictures of him with angry birds since then. when i put the white jerusalem angry bird shirt (from lauren) on the bed (which he reminded me to go get out of his drawer) I kinda folded it up, and put it on the bed. He got really concerned, and told me I need to spread it out, so you could see all of the angry birds :)

of all of the things Jaden got for Christmas, he said this was his favorite...

an angry birds cookie that Santa put in his stocking. simple boy.

every angry bird thing he opened he had this expression. so priceless.

(you would not believe how much this boy eats to have ribs like that!!)

it was a fun christmas! the kids felt very loved, and so did I! I got my very first sewing machine from Cam, a jewlery box & a mac gift card :) and our biggest, bestest christmas present of all... our new house!!!

we spent the rest of the day just enjoying each other, playing with the new toys, eating christmas breakfast & taking care of our sick baby girl.

christmas evening, Sis was having a rough time. Jade made her a bed, and brought her a bunch of special books, and favorite toys. he was so worried about her. he sat there and took care of her until it was time for him to take a bath, and then told Daddy that he needed to make sure she was okay, because he was going to be gone. sweet brother & sister.
