Halloween 2012

Our first halloween in our new neighborhood was SOO much fun!! We seriously live in our dream neighborhood, there were so many young kids out trick or treating, and the whole neighborhood just hanging out outside! So fun!!

One of the only houses the kids actually got to ring the doorbell. Most houses the people were just sitting outside handing out the candy.

 Sissy got pretty spooked pretty quickly, so I took Jade to a couple more houses, and then we can home and checked out their treats!

 they were so excited!

 Sissy's favorite thing she got, a teeny tiny little toy mouse :) She is still playing with it a month later!

 Early that day I got this picture from Jade's teacher. They are so cute! The whole school had "Hero Day" and they could all dress up as heros. We decided Mario was definitely a hero since he rescues the princess!

Granger Wrangler Kid with Character!!

Every six weeks, Granger Elementary has an award ceremony the "Wrangler Round Up" There is one BIG award in each Kindergarten class (there are 8 kindergarten classes) for the child who has shown the best Character, and Jaden got it! There were also other awards, and they had them stand up when they had their name called for the reward.

Jaden got:

Kid with Character Award

Citizenship Award (only getting his color changed once)

Music Award (one out of ALL of the kindergarteners from the music teachers)

Perfect Attendance Award

It was a VERY exciting day to say the least :)

 his teacher, Mrs. Moore, is the one standing behind to the left of him

 when he got called up for the award. he had no idea he was getting it. oh, and I just LOVE the expression on Mrs. Moore's face in the right of the picture. Such a perfect teacher for him!!

 I just love what Mrs Moore said about him-

"Jaden is a very honest and responsible student.

He takes responsibility not only for his actions, but for getting work done. He is also a great leader in the classroom."

Visit from Brett, Heather, Brookston & Savannah!

Brett, Heather, Brookston & Savannah came to visit us last month!!! We had the best time ever having them here and miss them so so much!!

Me & Sissy picked them up at the airport, at stopped by kroger on the way home. Sissy & brookston were so excited about the lobsters. We had to pry them away!

he LOVES girl babies... especially this girl baby.sweet savannah! 

the next day we went to boo at the zoo! the kids loved it. we decorated pumpkins, did carnival games, bounce house, avoided the creepy clowns, trick or treated, rode the train and visited the animals!

Saturday we went to the Fort Worth Stockyards

we got some fried pickles! Yum, yum!! Brett obviously LOVED them :)
