we keep it cOoL!

We've been trying hard to stay cool this summer... oh wait it's only MAY! I LOVE Texas!

Here's what we've been up to:

so i got this sprinkler at HEB, and it was seriously the funniest thing ever. It has like

crazy arms or something and the little sprinkler thingers were like flying everywhere 

squirting everyone in the eyes, we turned it down, and it was MUCH more fun

for them.

okay, I am SO GLAD Mel got pictures of this... 

I know we have told all our family who haven't seen her for a while

what a drama queen she is, here is proof. check out her expression in the left one.

"WAHH!! My life is coming to an end, because my horrible Mommy won't let me have another cookie. WHY!? Why does my life have to be SO HARD!?"

and then of course I have to give her one. In my defense I usually hold out longer, and she knows it. But when Daddy is around... that's a whole other story. She knows she's got him wrapped around her finger. She's for sure his little princess.

Keepin it cool at the ZOO SPRAY PARK

just as it starts to get to hot to go to the Zoo, they turn on the water for their spray park. It's awesome cuz you can go see some animals AND cool off. We've already been like 5 times. We still haven't gotten to the part where we go see animals though, the spray park is just too fun! :) note: these pics are from dif days and ALL from Mich, Mel, Steph AND Em

this day we went to the zoo, and thought we were going to stay dry. We did for a minute.

We even saw the turtle up real close.

but once again the water got the best of us! :)
