Corpus Christi!!

We took a quick trip to Corpus Christi this week! We were wanting to try a new place, and craving the beach! So this seemed like an awesome place! It was! It felt like we weren't in Texas anymore, being at the beach, feeling all tropical... it was really beautiful! We got up early in the morning so we could make the most of our trip, dropped off Zoey at the Kennel and got in the car for 4.5ish hours! First we went to the Texas State Aquarium, and got to see the dolphins. They have the awesome underground viewing areas which the kids thought was SO exciting! The dolphins were playing with balls and rings, and Jaden thought they were just hilarious!

said hello to the sea turtle (or some type of turtle... we pretty much call all turtles "Sea Turtles" because of Diego!)

the kids got to touch a stingray!!

fed the seagulls... Jaden kept saying "mine! Mine! mine!" because of the seagulls on Nemo

walked by this cool little restaurant

and got some ice cream and the most heavenly mango smoothie!

Sissy's first time in the ocean!!

last time Jade went was when he was only 9 or 10 months old, so he really didn't remember it, he was in Wave jumping HEAVEN!

"AH! Where did Daddy's feet go?!!"

Kennedy was a little nervous about it, she jumped the waves with Jade for a minute, but she mostly wanted to be held. I think her biggest problem was the way all the sand was getting on her and making her feel yucky... hmm... I wonder where she get's that from??

we LOVE the beach!!!

put the camera away (something that's always hard for me to do), and enjoyed our afternoon at the beach!
