Miniature Train Ride in Fort Worth

Over spring break I got the brilliant idea to take the kids to the FW zoo. What I didn't realize, however, is that one of the top five zoos in the nation gets really, unbelievably busy over spring break. Every road and freeway leading in any way to the zoo was backed up and in stand still traffic. The kids (well mostly Kennedy) kept begging to keep going, so we did. By the time we got there and parked a little over a mile away from the entrance we noticed the miniature train ride that goes around the zoo park! We all agreed that would be a great way to spend our day instead :) it was really fun, and definitely something we will do again sometime!
