We had a fun filled 4th of July week!
Went on a nature hike to scope out new photo shoot locations, and came across this cute barn with these cute kids :)
read "the Teddy Bear's Picnic" to Kennedy, and had amazing memories rush in from my childhood. My mom used to read this book to us all the time. I'm so lucky to have such an amazing Mother.
went to "member Monday's" at the zoo! We got in an hour before the zoo opens, and got to do the carasol and the train rides for free!!
And got up close and personal with some of our favorite zoo animals!
had to take the car in to get the safety inspection, and so we went across the street to get us some delicious fuzzys!
for 4th of July we made the cutest/yummiest red,white & blue rice krispy treats!
and enjoyed a late afternoon swim
we pretty much are at the pool every day this summer. its so perfect. the kids got brave enough to jump in by themselves this day
went to the Dallas Zoo with Daddy. Wasn't nearly as impressive as our fort worth zoo... but we did love the penguins!
